For airlines

Open a tender and click Analytics Settings in the top toolbar. These settings control how bids are normalized and compared inside this tender — they don't affect other tenders, and they're Manager-only (everyone else sees a read-only banner).

WACC

Weighted Average Cost of Capital — your company's cost of capital as a percent. Used to price the cost of payment terms across bids:

(WACC % / 365) × Payment Terms × Total Price × −1

The result appears as Comparative Cost of Payment Terms on the bid analysis page — bids with longer payment terms score better when WACC is high. Also on this tab:

  • Hide Invalid Bids — automatically hides bids whose status is Expired, Withdrawn, etc., from analytics.

Conversion Factors (Currency & Units)

Controls how bids in different currencies and units get compared.

  • Currency Conversion — pick Daily rate (live API rates) or Specific day's rate (frozen on a chosen date for consistency).
  • Default Exchange Currency and Default Unit of Measurement — what normalized totals are shown in.
  • Manual Rates — override the API rate per currency. Manual entries take precedence over both daily and fixed API rates.
  • Unit Conversion — override the volume conversion (e.g. MT → USG) when you need a different factor than the default.

Changes here ripple through every bid comparison, ranking, and analytics view in this tender.

Select Current Contract for Comparison

Sets the baseline for showing savings and uplifts on the bid analysis dashboard. Pick the existing supplier contract you're currently buying from at each location; new bids are compared against it so you see the delta in your preferred currency and unit.

If no current contract is selected, comparison columns simply show the bid's absolute price.

Index averaging periods

Index-linked offers (Platts, Argus) carry their own averaging period — set per offer when the bid is created or revised, not in Analytics Settings. See the supplier-side Place a tender bid doc for how averaging is configured per index.
